Glenamaddy Players

Glenamaddy Players were established in 1972 and have gone from strength to strength ever since. The group have been competing on the festival circuit for over 30 years with productions such as "Dancing at Lughnasa" and "The Odd Couple".

They have qualified for the All Ireland Confined finals on several occasions with plays such as "The Sorcerers Tale", "The Playboy of the Western World", "Eclipsed" and "The Communication Cord".

The group most recently qualified to the All- Ireland Confined finals in 2013 with the first amateur production of the play, "Moment" by Deirdre Kinahan. The group are delighted to have reached the All-Ireland Finals again in 2014 with their production of 'Agnes of God'.
